Thermal (burns, frostbite), chemical or caustic injury (face, buccal mucosa, pharynx, upper airway)

May occur via inhalation or contact of/with hot- or cold gases, fumes, explosiion, or material. May include facial injury, uvulitis, epiglottitis, tracheal inflammation or granulomas avulsion and chemical burns induced by aspirated iron sulfate or other pills. See also under IVs, VIIIk, XIbe
