A recent epidemic. Including alpha-PVP and pentedrone and substituted cathinones. Can cause neurologic and CNS symptoms. Street name: 'bath salts'. PMID: 21899474, 22459606, 23827164, 24966713). Potassium permanganate used to synthetize the compound in the home may cause a parkinsonian syndrome (PMID 18322282)
