Methamphetamine

Met/Meth is an abused drug/substance. Manufacture of met in so-called meth-labs can injure bystanders, family, children, law officers, coroners, firemen and/or forensic people. See also under amphetamine and PMID: 10408124, 16438482, 1758482, 18166274, 19936975, 9358986, 21683529. When cut with talc, methamphetamine can cause pneumoconiosis and PMF (PMID 23050878). Examination of the oral cavity for meth-mouth is indicated (PMID 21874893, 25662544). Management issues at PMID 25724076. Meth is sometimes carried by body-packers (PMID 19342282)
